we had a pleasant stay at the surrey, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the main site, away from the busier annex. the restaurant offered a decent selection, and we appreciated the 20% discount on our dinner. check-in and check-out were smooth, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff who ensured a positive experience overall.

Dated furniture and no lifts 😕.

Possibly the best and really great stay for the weekend. Newly renovated and modern rooms with a microwave, new bathroom, a great view. Location - magnificent, close to shops, and also the CBD as well as St Luke's mall. Situated only 1 km from Museum of Transport and Technology. Reasonably priced English bar.

I stayed here for a quick two-night getaway with my family. The location was good, surrounded by charming shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean, complete with cozy beds and a fully stocked kitchen setup. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip, and the on-site restaurant provided convenient dining options. The staff were helpful, even catering to our meal request promptly.

I cannot recommend this hotel.

It has great and handy location with a zoo and a stadium very close to the place. There's cool Cafe Viet a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, make desserts etc. The restaurant is reasonably priced for breakfast and dinner and reasonably priced...

During my transit stay at the Surrey, I appreciated the hotel’s convenient location, just 25 km from Auckland, which made it easy for me to explore the city.

I noticed the Wi-Fi connection was insufficient, which required me to use my mobile hotspot. While this was a minor inconvenience, it was something to keep in mind for future stays.

Nice area.

The fact that there was no sky television available in your room. We had returned to the hotel early to watch the Rugby World Cup and were very disappointed. Also felt the prices charged were extremely high for the condition of the hotel which was very dated.
